A High Temperature Aluminum Foil Tape
Specifically designed for challenging applications such as flue pipe closures, 3M™ Venture Tape™ High Temperature Aluminum Foil Tape 3243 features a foil backing and an aggressive high-temp solvent acrylic adhesive that performs well in temperatures as high as 425°F/218°C. The foil features high heat reflectivity and thermal conductivity for heating and cooling efficiency and to help protect heat sensitive components. The tape is easy to manipulate and install without special tools or application methods. The foil tape conforms to uneven and curved surfaces for ease of application. In addition, this tape is designed with resistance to moisture, weather, UV and chemicals to offer long-lasting durability.

This adhesive bonds to a variety of substrates and the tape applies easily to sheet metal ducts on flat or irregular surfaces. It provides good performance and durability over a wide range of environmental conditions and over a spectrum of temperatures ranging from -40°F/-40°C to 425°F/218°C. 3M™ Venture Tape™ High Temperature Aluminum Foil Tape 3243 is UL 723 listed.
