Our 3M Perfect-It EX Ultrafine Machine Polish stays wet longer on the substrate, meaning you don?t need to keep reapplying it and using valuable product during the process of machine polishing and swirl removal. This can be especially important in places where heat and humidity are common inside or outside of the shop. Yet the polish also holds better on the pad, reducing the mess, waste and cleanup time associated with sling. Quite simply, our Perfect-It EX Ultrafine Machine Polish is our highest-performing machine polish for better material cost efficiency, lower process times and refined, swirl-free final paint finishes.
An Excellent Finish, Fast
As the final step of a truly professional vehicle paint finish, our Perfect-It EX Ultrafine Machine Polish quickly and completely removes ultrafine machine polish swirls even on the most difficult black or dark-colored vehicles. At its heart is aluminum oxide, the same mineral used in many of our top-performing abrasive discs and sheets. In fact, fine grade aluminum oxide discs are part of the Scratch Refinement stage of our Perfect-It Paint Finishing System, which includes our EX Machine Polishes. This abrasive cuts quickly and uniformly in a very fine grade to remove ultrafine swirl marks left during the machine polishing process.

This system uses a progressive series of abrasives, buffing and compounding pads, and specially formulated polishes across four stages of repair to produce showroom grade finishes with deep color and rich gloss.
For the best swirl-free finish on all colors, we recommend using Perfect-It EX Ultrafine Machine Polish with a blue Perfect-It Quick Connect Ultrafine Polishing Pad, PN05708 or PN33286.
