Atomizing heads are available in five sizes: 2.0 mm (red), 1.8 mm (clear), 1.4 mm (orange), 1.3 mm (green) and 1.2 mm (blue). For sealers, basecoats and topcoats, 3M recommends 1.3 mm or 1.4 mm atomizing heads. Choose the 1.8 mm size for higher-viscosity materials such as primer, and the 2.0 mm size for heavy-duty applications using fluids like gel coats, adhesives, undercoats or industrial coatings. Always refer to your paint company’s recommendations. Fast, easy controls for fan diameter, fluid and air pressure on the Accuspray ONE gun allow for quick adjustment across jobs from spot repairs to full panel coverage requiring up to 12 vertical or horizontal spray patterns.

Along with the distinctive color, the fluid tip size is presented clearly on each atomizing head for fast, accurate selection. Atomizing heads are see-through to make it easy for technicians to determine that the head is properly cleaned.

This system features our Accuspray ONE Spray Gun – a lightweight, composite spray gun body that is molded in one piece, eliminating the complexity, wear and cleaning of small parts and pieces. This gun body has been engineered for enhanced durability in automotive and industrial environments. The spray gun uses a series of replaceable, see-through atomizing heads which can be reused 5-10 times and then simply removed and replaced. Every PPS Series 2.0 lid features a _-turn lid locking system to help reduce paint build-up and possible contamination. Additionally, each lid and liner kit contains a new hard cup which also features universal mixing ratios built into the cup, eliminating the need for separate inserts and helping ensure the most accurate mix possible.

Reduce Material Waste by Mixing in the Cup
Our 3M PPS Series 2.0 makes it even easier to mix directly in the cup. If you’re mixing on a scale, use the max fill notation on each cup to fit the maximum amount. Cups include a clear access window to help you see how much material is left while spraying. The window also allows you to hold the liner for easier, cleaner lid removal. This is especially useful during refills or tinting.

3M PPS Series 2.0 Lids feature a domed geometry that allows up to 3 oz (90mL) of material below the filter during on-demand spraying. This reduces sputter and other inconsistencies in spray performance. Lids also feature a wider spout for improved fluid flow. A new adapter design provides a four-point connection and a wider 360 degree platform to ensure a stable, reliable lid-to-spray-gun connection. Larger sealing plugs do more than just seal. For instance, you can turn the cup upside down and use the new sealing plug as a base for temporary sealing and protecting, helping keep the built-in filter wet and reducing the need for replacement lids.

A System for Both Solvent-Based and Waterborne Products
Every lid features a built-in full diameter filter available in 200 micron or 125 micron mesh. Be sure to consult the paint or coatings manufacturer for the recommended filter mesh size.
