Even though they look like threaded metal, these ear tips are made with ultra soft foam to help comfortably protect the wearer. The large foam ear tips of these push-to-fit earplugs are inserted into the ear canal with a simple push of the firm plastic fitting stems.

Description

The plastic fitting stems are designed to help with insertion and removal of the ear tips, even if wearing gloves, helping ear tips stay clean longer. The ultra-soft conical shaped ear tip with raised ribs that look like screw threads and the fitting stem in the shape of a Phillips head screw provide an overall look that might appeal to some users to help with compliance.
