The fast and easy-to-use permanent bonding method provides high strength and long-term durability. It offers design flexibility with its viscoelasticity and powerful ability to bond a variety of surfaces, with temperature resistance of 230?C (450?F) for up to 4 hours.

This 1/32 in. thick polyethylene foam tape is known for its high ultimate adhesion and reliable performance across many surfaces. One of its noted features is its ability to conform to irregular substrates. It provides high ultimate adhesion to many plastics and is formulated for demanding indoor and outdoor general purpose mounting and bonding applications. What is Double Coated Tape?
In general, double coated tape is composed of a foam, paper, film, or tissue carrier that is coated on both sides with pressure sensitive adhesive. The adhesive is protected by a peel-away liner that can be removed at the time of application or left in place until the joining surfaces are ready to be attached. Applications for double coated tape are found in construction, fabrication, arts, and hobby. For bonding rough or irregular surfaces, 3M™ Double Coated Foam Tapes fill gaps and distribute stress uniformly over the bonded area.
