How Our Masking Paper Improves Your Collision Repair
We designed our Scotch Steel Gray Masking Paper specifically for automotive aftermarket applications. It is available in a variety of sizes for jobs ranging from general masking to the masking of specific, often difficult parts such as headlights, taillights, door jambs and bumpers. Yet it remains thin enough for good performance on apron tapers and maskers. This improves shop efficiency and reduces product waste.
Operators can use our strong, flexible, pliable masking paper to protect a large variety of irregularly shaped surfaces from overspray, speeding up worktime and improving results in auto body masking and painting. The paper is specially treated to resist penetration of liquids including solvents and enamels, greatly reducing rework due to bleed-through. A sheet of our Steel Gray Masking Paper can also withstand a bake cycle up to 400?F (204?C) for one hour, making it suitable for use in paint booths.
