Manufactured with compressed, non-woven fiber construction and uniform grain distribution, the wheels in our Scotch-Brite Roloc EXL Unitized Wheel Pack 987S are an excellent choice for weld polishing, deburring aircraft parts, and blending and finishing on a variety of metals, plastics and composites. Our EXL wheels remove burrs without gouging or marring the work surface, leave a clean edge, and produce consistent results. The open-web construction also minimizes heat buildup during operation, making these wheels ideal for use on heat sensitive materials.Made with premium abrasive mineral, EXL wheels take on challenging surfaces while reducing the need for rework or additional finishing steps.

Range of Densities and Grades
This versatile wheel pack includes five 2? Roloc quick-change wheels in a range of densities and grades, along with the holder needed for convenient attachment to right angle tool or die grinder. The Roloc attachment allows use of both the edge and surface of the wheel without interruption of mounting hardware. Soft 2 density wheels offer conformability and flexibility for finishing flat, contoured, or irregular surfaces. EXL material in the higher densities can be extremely tough, delivering aggressive cutting power for effective deburring of edges and corners without smearing or damaging the part. Hard densities 6-8 offer strong edge retention to help maintain consistent shape and maximum cutting action. The pack includes wheels in three abrasive grades: Medium/Course (aluminum oxide), and Fine (silicon carbide).

The Convenience of 3M Roloc
Our 3M Roloc TR quick change wheels and discs have smaller diameters and feature a plastic threaded button or screw designed to easily and quickly screw onto a Roloc holder (included) so that operators can conveniently change wheels or discs with a simple twist-off, twist-on motion. The Roloc TR system provides a secure attachment even for heavy-duty applications, and the variety of available 3M Roloc products allows swapping from one application to the next in seconds.
