Fast-Cutting Wool with Less Lint for Effective Compounding
Featuring a 100% wool abrasive that quickly refines paint defects including sand scratches of P1200 or finer, our 3M™ Perfect-It™ Low Lint Wool Compounding Pad is excellent for the compounding process in collision repair. These fast-cutting single-sided pads feature 100% wool fibers which are individually stitched to the pad instead of twisted into tufts. This means that the fibers hold more securely to the pad vs. twisted fibers during use, greatly reducing the chance of lint particles which can add cleanup time and even rework. A 4” diameter is great for control and access when compounding small areas and in tight spaces. Compounding pads feature insets for quick attachment to rotary polishers and Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment for easy pad change-outs.
