Vital for increasing your grinding capabilities in collision repair, our 3M™ Kut-Down™ Abrasive Disc Adapter lets technicians quickly and easily adapt our aggressive 3M™ Kut-Down™ Discs to a variety of common hand held shop tools – the full power of industrial abrasive discs right in the palm of your hand. The package contains a 3” diameter adapter that attaches easily to handheld pistol-grip type grinders and air sanders with 7/16-20 threads. The other end of the adapter twists directly into the built-in backing plates on our 3M™ Kut-Down™ Discs 01429, 01430 and 01431. This provides technicians with easy on/easy off quick-change disc operation for better results and higher efficiency.

This Kut-Down™ Abrasive Disc Adapter package also includes a 1/4” mandrel which lets you quickly attach Kut-Down™ discs to standard drills for even greater capabilities in portable grinding and sanding. Both adapters make grinding easier and more portable, great for grinding numerous jobs or in hard-to-reach areas.
