ACS PF-3350 Powder Feeder

Powder Feeder PF-3350 / PF-3350-A are the latest in a series of thermal spray powder feeders. The feeder is designed to feed powder for thermal spray coatings. Its small size makes it a portable powder feeder, which can be carried to site for job work.

PF-3350 is for manual operation and suitable with almost all flame spray systems.

PF-3350-A is designed to use with automatic control panels as well as operate manually. The unit gives precise and repeatable feed rates. This feeder operates on a volumetric feed principle. At the bottom of the pressurized canister, there is slotted metal disc powder wheel mounted off-center of the canister. A given volume of powder fits into each slot, and as the disc rotates, the powder is fed into the powder hose and then to the spray gun.

The speed of the powder disc governs the feed rate of the powder. The disc is directly driven by a closely controlled, geared down, variable speed AC motor and the disc rpm displayed on the control panel.

The tamper assembly located on top of the powder carrier disc (PF-3350-19 C or F) can be removed or installed by merely removing the thumbscrew. You should remove the cam wheel also when not in use. The powder wheels are two-type (1) PF-3350-19-C is for coarse powders & (2) PF-3350-19-F is for fine powders.

Note: Do not use the tamper assembly when feeding aluminum powder
