  • Extremely uniform sizes of Silicon Carbide abrasive bonded to a very flexible cloth backing using a flexible and resilient adhesive results in an abrasive belt that removes material uniformly and rapidly generating a uniform scratch pattern without deep or random scratches like a rigid fixed abrasive belt.
  • The uniform scratch pattern allows for the use of finer grades of abrasives in fewer steps to achieve the final finish
  • Smaller chips and flexibility of the backing allow the sharp silicon carbide abrasive to cut without fracturing, reducing heat build up and resulting in a product life that is 7 to 15 times as long as traditional coated abrasives
