The 3M Hookit Clean Sanding Hook Saver does just as it says: it protects and extends the life of the hooks on a new Hookit Clean Sanding Disc Pad. Our hook saver provides an additional low cost replaceable layer of hooks that can be consumed during use, in place of those on the disc pad itself. This extends the life of the pad and minimizes costly replacements where repeated disc chances occur

To protect the integrity and life of your 3M Hookit Pad, the 3M Hookit Clean Sanding Hook Saver was devised. With holes that exactly match the multi-hole design of your Clean Sanding disc pad, it extends the life of your pad and maintains the integrity of the clean sanding system, making sure you get the most return from your investment.
3M Hookit systems permits thousands of easy attachments, detachments and reattachments. Stiff hooks on the receiving side mesh with pliable loops on the disc to provide secure abrasive attachment.
Over time, repeated disc changes will fatigue the hooks on the disc pad and reduce the level of attachment force between the disc and pad. To protect your specialized Hookit Pad and extend its useful life, 3M has developed this low-cost hook saver attachment.
