About the 3M Stikit Attachment System
The vinyl face of the pad securely holds a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) disc. The 3M Stikit system was designed for convenient disc changes between grades or applications. Our Stikit discs come ready to use with a high-quality PSA coating on the backside so that attaching them to the disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker, yet they remove cleanly from a Stikit back-up pad. Stikit discs tend to provide a more aggressive cut than do our 3M Hookit products.

Use this soft back-up pad with a fine grade 8? diameter PSA abrasive disc on a slow speed polisher or grinder. The maximum RPM for this pad is 3000, a desirable speed for generating smooth, controlled finishing results.
