SPINEL Flexicord is designed to be sprayed with our MASTER JET flame spray gun. SPINEL has a low wettability versus Al & Zn. SPINEL has very good stability up to high temperatures (1400C) and provides good electrical insulation, good corrosion resistance versus most acids and alkalis, and medium abrasion resistance.
Applications: Very high-temperature applications up to 1400C. Electrically insulating coating. Good corrosion resistance. Suitable for contact with molten metals (Al, Zn). Coating on crucibles, chutes, fusion pots, molds, funnels, and spoons. Feed rollers for galvanized wires manufacturing. Steel converter chimney and cover. Protective coating of high section of electric furnaces.
