It features?a flip-up grinding visor, assigned protection factor (APF) of 25, and the ability to decrease air temperature by up to 50?F (28?C). When used with 3M Auto-Darkening Lenses, this safety gear helps protect the face and eyes against foreign matter and intense light from MIG, TIG and stick welding.

This flip-up welding helmet with supplied air cooling valve can help workers in hot,?humid conditions. The Fresh-Air III V-100 cooling valve comes with a belt for quick access, allowing welders to control the flow of clean air and lower its temperature.
