3M Automotive Refinish Masking Tape 388N is a yellow crepe-paper tape designed specifically for the critical paint masking processes used in the collision repair industry. It features a rubber-based adhesive and flexible crepe-paper construction for excellent conformability and adhesion. Yellow tape resists moisture, solvents and outdoor exposure. It leaves clean paint lines without buildup.
Conformable for Efficient Application
The crepe-paper backing on 3M™ Automotive Refinish Masking Tape 388N offers good conformability, so you can stretch and manipulate the tape to fit curves and contours without tearing. The thin and flexible backing heightens the ability of the tape to conform and produce sharp, clean paint lines.
Moisture-Resistant Tape Sticks and Stays
The proprietary rubber-based adhesive delivers instant adhesion to a variety of automotive substrates including moldings, plastic, glass, metal, rubber and painted surfaces.
