Weather-Ready, Silver Backing Treatment

The unique nature of Scotch Weather Resistant Masking Tape 225 is its silver-backing treatment which provides UV resistance and allows for clean removal from outdoor surfaces for up to one month. This weather-resistant masking tape features a rubber adhesive that sticks instantly to most surfaces. This adhesive also offers good holding power that resists lifting and curling. In addition, Scotch Weather Resistant Masking Tape 225 is solvent and moisture resistant, preventing bleedthrough during application. We constructed this tape with a medium-weight crepe paper backing for good paint lines. This masking tape is saturated for conformability and has an easy-to-tear design for simple application.
