3M Between Coats Finishing Pads are used to prepare surfaces before applying the first coat of finish or sealer and again between coats to obtain a super-smooth finish.
Final Finishing Pads. Use final finishing pads with waxes or oils to buff shellac, lacquer and varnished surfaces. They can also be used to clean delicate surfaces and precision tools. These pads buff and polish during the final finishing stage.
