3M Cubitron II Roloc Durable Edge Disc 984F is designed with 3M Precision Shaped Grain to tackle medium to high-pressure grinding applications when a smaller-sized disc is needed. It excels in stainless steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloy applications. For long life and durability, we used a laminated 2-ply polyester backing for wear-resistance in edge work.

To create Precision Shaped Grain, our engineers started with 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain and used proprietary technology to form the grains into triangular structures. These peaks slice cleanly through metal like a knife through butter, rather than gouging or plowing as traditional abrasives do, and continuously self-sharpen as the points fracture. This generates a super-fast cut and lessens heat build-up due to friction, reducing heat-related stress cracks and discoloration.

Scotch-Brite Surface Conditioning Solutions

A variety of Scotch-Brite Surface Conditioning Discs in grades from super and very fine to coarse are designed to clean, finish, blend and deburr on most substrates. With this versatile pack, operators get the opportunity to test how different discs work with different surfaces.

Nonwoven technology makes our Scotch-Brite abrasives unique. The spring-like action of this open web design works well on contours and responds to subtleties on the surface. Its responsive design effectively removes unwanted burrs, soils and contaminants without damaging the surface, so you get a consistent and uniform finish, part after part.

Less Idle Time with Quick-Change Attachments

A quick-change system means machines spend less time idle. 3M Roloc TR quick-change discs easily and quickly screw onto a Roloc TR disc pad. Change discs with a simple twist-off, twist-on motion. Discs remain secure in even heavy-duty applications. Swap from one application to the next in seconds.
